There are now 16 different General Conference lesson plans for October 2025. Because of other major projects and upcoming deadlines in my life, this is the total number I will write for now. Each six-month period, we have 10 General Conference RS/EQ meetings – so I hope, hope, hope that 16 will cover most of the ones you are assigned. Good luck with your teaching and many wonderful blessings to you as you serve. We are so grateful for teachers!

Elder Jackson’s talk is amazing. Very good. It is bishop and leadership training. Every bishopric should watch that video and decide how they’re going to make it happen in their ward. Then the RS, YW, YM, Primary and EQ presidencies should be trained and tasked with how to make that come alive in their prospective organizations.

    Dear sister Cannon,
In your busy schedule—would you be able to use your beautiful magic 🙂 and put together a lesson plan for Elder Matthew S. Holland’s talk? “Forsake Not Your Own Mercy”.
I would love to be able to share this lesson in RS, and my husband will use it in Elders Quorum as well. If you’re not able, of course I understand. I most definitely will try to use your Lesson help guide, and hope it will be okay. Thank you so much for everything you do to help our lesson discussion be more successful, inspiring and uplifting!
    You are incredible!!

Hello Patricia and all my dearest, esteemed teachers. You who seek out resources to better your lessons – I love what you are doing! I wish I could do every speaker, especially the one you are looking for. This site gets about 40k visitors a month and the data shows the apostles and the better sister speakers are the ones most of the traffic wants. So I do the apostles first and possibly the sisters. I know we had other wonderful speakers who were awesome. Occaisionally I will do others, but not a lot.

Nonetheless, have confidence in yourself. You can put together a great lesson. Pick five quotes, go from there. This page will give you in depth details how to do it…how I do it. I want you to be successful. Teaching is a life-long skill and many of us love you for being willing. Grab your highlighters and try this page if your speaker is not yet up. 5 Steps to a Great Lesson. The Spirit loves you and wants you to be successful.

Thank you Patricia! I really appreciate your sharing that. I just finished and posted President Oaks Oct 2025 talk and it was HARD, because it was 17 minutes long and capturing it in a meaningful way took some real work. I will keep going until I get all apostles and sisters plus a couple others. Sweet blessings you always. Shawnie
