We Are Not the Same by Divine Design

The time has come to stop trying to homogenize The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with other religions. It doesn’t help us or them.

Set the city on the hill. People don’t convert because you’re the same as the neighborhood church. The ELECT convert because you have many extraordinary, vibrant, and powerful truths not found anywhere else.

Consider This Partial List

~A powerful, personable, approachable, knowable Savior who is a resurrected, exalted Man.

~God the Father is His Father and yours and is also an exalted Man. We are literally made in His image.

~We know why we were created in Their image. Gods became men, so men could become gods.

~You have a divine destiny to progress towards for the billions of eons to come – to become a divine being like both of Them with principalities and powers.

~Temple ordinances that endow you with power now and seal you with your sweetheart forever.

~An extraordinary prophet who saw both God the Father and Jesus Christ. His name is Joseph Smith.

~Modern revelation that includes 14,000 new verses of canon that lift, inspire, and instruct. They are expressly written for the issues of our day and for end times.

~Direct connections to Heaven, the Savior, and personal revelation.

~Priesthood authority and power to perform ordinances that will be recognized in heaven. ~That priesthood was restored by Peter, James, and John by the laying on of hands.

~Baptism by immersion by one who has authority like Aaron, given him by the laying on of hands.

~The gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands.

~Patriarchal blessings that provide you with much guidance for your life’s path.

~Personal, unique priesthood blessings of healing, strength, and comfort placed upon your head during life’s harder trials.

~Your efforts matter, your good works matter – they help build the Kingdom of God. You belong to a greater entity than yourself.

~Devoted Sabbath day worship – we actively participate as lay clergy, teachers, and guides to each other.

~Sacrament is passed every Sunday to help us repent and take advantage of Christ’s atoning sacrifice.

~We have a living, inspiring, dynamic prophet who guides us.

~We have apostles who travel the globe, preaching the surer word of Christ.

~Our youth are booming; we have more missionaries now, volunteer youth, than at any other time in our history.

~We plan to build Zion and the New Jerusalem.

~We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and the return of the Lost 10 Tribes.

~We look forward to the Second Coming of the Savior and don’t fear all the calamities and chaos still to come.

~The Savior Jesus Christ directs this Church Himself through the prophet. It is His one, true Church with all the truths found together in one place.

Gratitude

I boldly testify that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ’s New Testament church restored. We follow every syllable of Christ’s mortal ministry. We are wholly centered on the Savior and His teachings.
